SINGAPORE PASSPORT<\/p>\n
All Singapore passports issued from August 15, 2006, will be biometric (BioPass).<\/p>\n
Singaporeans who hold the current non-biometric, machine-readable passports can apply for the new BioPass to gain visa-free entry to the United States of America (USA) under the US Visa Waiver Program.<\/p>\n
You can apply for a Singaporean International Passport (BioPass) using the application form (Form IMM E11 (OS) and Form P 28.3, links below) or submit it online at https:\/\/eservices.ica.gov.sg\/esvclandingpage\/apples. Completed application forms can then be submitted to the Consulate-General either in person (adults) or through an authorized representative.<\/p>\n
VALIDITY
\nThe new BioPass is valid for five years. If your existing passport has nine months or less remaining validity, the remaining validity of your passport will be transferred to your new passport. In this case, your new passport will be valid for five years plus the remaining validity of your old passport. However, if your existing passport is valid for more than nine months, your new passport will be valid for five years and nine months.<\/p>\n
SINGAPORE PASSPORT RENEWAL
\nThis service is available to Singaporeans working or residing in Ho Chi Minh City. You can renew your Singapore passport either online (Apple's system) at http:\/\/www.ica.gov.sg\/ (the passport will be available in 2\u20133 weeks. Please indicate that the collection point is in Ho Chi Minh City) or apply directly (in person) at our office (the passport will be available in 3\u20135 weeks; payment is due upon application). For both methods, you can obtain your new passport at the Consulate-General.<\/p>\n
I. FOR ONLINE PASSPORT RENEWAL:
\nYou can apply online at https:\/\/eservices.ica.gov.sg\/esvclandingpage\/apples. You will need your SingPass 2FA to complete the online application form. A fee of S$ 80 is payable online via Visa\/Mastercard.<\/p>\n
II. For passport renewal at the Singaporean Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City:<\/p>\n
