NEW ZEALAND PASSPORT

Most people can renew their New Zealand passport online, even if it's expired, lost, stolen, or damaged. The fee is $191 $ and processing takes up to 10 business days.

RENEW YOUR ADULT PASSPORT ONLINE
You can apply online if you:

want to renew or replace a current or expired passport
want to change your passport name – only if you changed it within New Zealand
want to replace a lost, stolen or damaged passport.
To renew your passport online, you must be at least 16 years old and have the following:

already have a passport, even if it is expired, lost, stolen or damaged
a digital passport photo
RealMe login – if you don’t have one yet, you can create one during the online application
a credit card or a New Zealand Post Prezzy Card.
IF YOU NEED TO RENEW YOUR PASSPORT USING A PAPER FORM
There are two forms you can use to renew your passport, depending on your situation.

Use the application form to renew your adult passport if you are 16 years or older and:

You need to renew a valid or expired passport,
Your name has not changed since your last passport was issued,
Your passport has not been lost, stolen or damaged,
Your New Zealand passport is a diplomatic or official passport.

Use the application form for a new adult passport if you are 16 years or older and:
Your passport has been lost, stolen or damaged,
Your name has changed since your last passport was issued,
your gender has changed since your last passport was issued,
there is an endorsement printed on the observation page of your last New Zealand passport or you require one in your renewed passport.
