If you're traveling abroad, you'll likely need a South Korean passport. Applying for a South Korean passport isn't difficult, but there are a few details to keep in mind. Here are the general requirements and specifications for South Korean passport photos:

Photo size: 45 mm high and 35 mm wide
The submitted photo must be in color.
Head posture: Keep your head straight.
Relevance: Not older than 6 months.
Background: white.
Smile: No.
Eyes: Clearly visible.
The image must not be blurry.
Glasses: Only permitted if they do not cover the eyes.
Head coverings: Generally not required. Exceptions apply for religious purposes.
Resolution (pixels): At least 600 dpi
Clothing: Avoid white clothing.
Beard: Only permitted if it reflects your everyday look.
